Hunt Together - Spaniel Edition

Hunt Together – The Spaniel Edition

Turn your spaniel's love of hunting into a team activity!

Does your spaniel switch off their ears and switch on their nose the moment you head outdoors? Do they become so absorbed in following scents and exploring that they forget you're even there?

Spaniels are born to hunt, and rather than trying to suppress those natural instincts, let's put them to good use!

In this fun, practical mini workshop, we'll explore how to turn hunting into a shared activity, helping your spaniel learn that working with you is just as exciting as hunting independently.

Through a series of engaging games and exercises, we'll work on:

• Hunting together – Encouraging your spaniel to search and explore in partnership with you.

• Connection and engagement – Building your dog's desire to keep track of you while hunting.

• Direction and teamwork – Introducing fun games that encourage your spaniel to follow your guidance.

• Check-ins and responsiveness – Helping your spaniel learn to reconnect with you, even when exciting scents are around.

• Using natural instincts as rewards – Making hunting part of the reward rather than something you're constantly competing against.

This workshop isn't about stopping your spaniel from hunting. It's about giving them an outlet for what they love doing, while developing a stronger connection and making walks more enjoyable for you both.

Less solo hunting, more teamwork!

Perfect for spaniel owners who want to channel their dog's natural hunting instincts into something fun, rewarding and cooperative.

All exercises use kind, reward-based training methods, with an emphasis on enjoyment, choice and building a positive partnership.
