Building connection with science-based training

We have taken ours puppy to classes with Lisa since he was 12 weeks old. Going to puppy, beginner and improver classes helped us and our dog so much. It taught us the essential life skills and also how to adapt to his ever changing needs as he grew up. We even had a 1-1 at home, and this really helped us understand his needs and how to better manage puppy problems. I can’t recommend enough! We will definitely be back for more classes.

I’ve been coming to sessions at Canine connections for several months now and I can honestly say every week both my dog and I get so much out of it. Lisa puts so much thought and effort into making the lessons varied and fun whilst helping every dog and their owner improve on areas that they find more challenging. Because of her help, I’ve felt so much more confident taking my lively dog out, and received lots of compliments on his behaviour. Totally recommend 10/10 !

We have just completed the Puppy Foundations Course with our lovely Cocker Spaniel, Winnie. Winnie loved attending classes - she's a very busy little puppy who loves learning and doing things. It really helped that the trainers, Lisa and Gemma, have Spaniels themselves and so really understood Winnie's needs. Attending every week helped us stay accountable, and it was nice to meet other puppy parents who are going through similar challenges. We have learnt so much through attending this course, and best of all Lisa and Gemma are empathetic towards the dogs and the training is focussed on building a great partnership with your dog, which was important to us. You also get access to a wealth of online resources to learn at home, which continues even after the course finishes. We will be attending future courses as a result of how good this has been for Winnie, and for us learning as first time puppy parents.

I’d highly recommend Canine Connections. My puppy was super nervous to the extent that she wanted to escape the field on the first class! Lisa was amazing, making suggestions so that Jessie would feel less scared. 6 weeks later after completing the Puppy Foundation she’s like a different dog, we’ve learnt skills to help us whilst out and about and you can visibly see how much her confidence has grown. Lisa is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. All the puppy classes were varied, interesting and fun. On week 1 the puppies were given the chance to experience so many different things. This is the first time I've experienced that at a puppy class. I would definitely recommend the classes.

Just finished the puppy course with Lisa and loved it! Would always recommend it to anybody, while having huge amounts of fun we have learned so much Lisa is a fantastic trainer and teacher.

Excellent dog training classes. My pup has benefitted hugely from Lisa and Halyna’s tips and techniques. Highly recommend - not only do you get great support in training your dog, it is also a great opportunity to strengthen the bond between you and your pup.

Excellent first course if you have just got your puppy and don’t know where to start! The classes are both fun and informative, extra help is always on hand if your puppy needs some extra encouragement or help. Lovely caring trainers who are passionate in what they teach. So glad Canine Connections were recommended to me!
