Lifeskills 1-2-1 training

The Lifeskills 1-2-1 sessions are for any age of dog, including puppies, who need help with general obedience (lead walking, recall, impulse control etc). These sessions are not for dogs with problem behaviours, please contact us if you need help with a specific issue.
Please note these sessions are held at our training field in Stapleford (see details below)

Within these sessions we work towards the Association of Pet Dog Training (APDT) Good Companion Awards, certificates and rosettes will be awarded for each Grade.

The sessions will include:

• Building connection and engagement
• Loose Lead Walking/Heelwork
• Recall in distracting environments
• Impulse Control
• Creating calmness
• Positions: Sit/Down/Stand/Middle
• Fun tricks to help create focus
• Scentwork/Gundog/Agility (grades Intermediate and above)
• Settle training

These sessions run on Tuesday & Wednesday mornings and Thursday afternoons and can be booked in single sessions of 45 mins or blocks of 2, 4 or 6 sessions.
