The Mixed Abilities class is open to any dog who has completed our puppy or beginners class or has completed a 1-2-1 session with us. If you have not trained with us before please Contact Us to arrange a 1-2-1 session.

The class will include:

  • Building connection and engagement
  • Loose Lead Walking/Heelwork
  • Recall in distracting environments
  • Impulse Control
  • Creating calmness
  • Positions: Sit/Down/Stand/Middle
  • Fun tricks to help create focus
  • Settle training

Within these classes we work towards the Association of Pet Dog Training (APDT) Good Companion Awards, certificates and rosettes will be awarded for each Grade.

This is a rolling class which means you and your dog can start at anytime.

I’ve been coming to sessions at Canine connections for several months now and I can honestly say every week both my dog and I get so much out of it. Lisa puts so much thought and effort into making the lessons varied and fun whilst helping every dog and their owner improve on areas that they find more challenging.
Because of her help, I’ve felt so much more confident taking my lively dog out, and received lots of compliments on his behaviour.
Totally recommend 10/10 !

We have just completed a 6 week awesome adolescence class with Lisa. I have a 7 month old cocker spaniel and I am a first time dog owner so was in much need of guidance and advice. Lisa is knowledgeable and patient. I am feeling so much more confident and the bond I have with my dog has improved considerably through these classes. I am about to sign up for my next class, thank you Lisa!
