This series of 4 weekly workshops have been designed to help you build an amazing connection with your dog and will provide you with the games, tips and tricks to teach your dog to come back to you in any situation.

You have the option to book on individual sessions or book all four. Maximum of 4 dogs per workshop.
 

Part 1 - Laying the foundations

This workshop will help lay the foundations of a really reliable recall.

The workshop is suitable for any age of dog who is at the beginning of their recall training or needs to go back to basics. 

What will be covered?
  • How to condition a recall cue
  • Appropriate equipment and how to use it
  • Finding the right reinforcement
  • Creating toy drive
  • Preventing recall problems


Part 2 - Connection & Engagement

As well as having a reliable response to a recall cue, it's really important that your dog stays connected with you on a walk in any environment. This workshop will give you the games, activities and tips to help you build an amazing connection with your dog.

This workshop is suitable for any age of dog who has completed our Real Life Recall Workshop Part 1 or has some basic recall training.

What will be covered?
  • Teaching your dog that staying close to you pays off
  • Games to build connection around distractions
  • Activities to include in your walks to keep your dog engaged


Part 3 - Working around distractions and self control

This workshop will help your dog to be able to stay connected with you and respond to their recall cue around distractions.

The workshop is suitable for dogs of any age who have either completed our Real Life Recall Workshops Part 1 and 2 or have a reasonable recall in low distracting environments.

What will be covered?
  • Recall games to help build your dogs ability to come away from a distraction
  • Understanding what drives your dog and using environmental reinforcers
  • Teaching your dog self control around triggers (dogs, people, wildlife)
  • Impulse control games to build frustration tolerance
  • Introduction to the emergency stop


Part 4 - Advanced Recall Training

This workshop will test your dogs ability to respond to their recall cue and stay connected with you in any enviroment.

The workshop is suitable for dogs of any age who have either completed our Real Life Recall Workshops Part 1, 2 and 3 or have a reliable recall in most situations.

What will be covered?
  • Premac recall games to test self control
  • Recall tests including 'the bolting rabbit'
  • Advanced recall games 
  • Review of emergency stop


When you book on any of the workshops the following will be included:
  • One month access to the Online Canine College including 'Whistle While you Walk'
  • JR Pet Products Training Treats

If you book all four workshops you will receive a FREE Tug e Nuff training toy.

The workshops will last one and a half hours with a short tea/coffee break. Please note there are no toilets at the training field.
