One of the biggest challenges new puppy owners face is how to properly socialise their new puppy.

The critical period of socialisation is between 3 and 14 weeks of age. This is when your puppy needs to have lots of positive experiences and associations with different stimuli.

Socialisation isn't just about your puppy meeting lots of dogs. Whilst it's important that your puppy has positive experiences around other dogs, it's also equally important they learn to ignore dogs. But there's so much more your puppy needs to get used to:

Different people
Children
Other Animals
Cars/Buses/Motorbikes
Joggers
Cyclists
Sounds
Surfaces and different textures

We have a range of services to help you ensure your puppy develops into a happy, sociable and confident adult dog.
