Our 6 week Puppy Foundation course will cover the follow areas:
- Socialisation/habitualisation and how to ensure positive experiences
- How to prevent jumping up and other problem behaviours
- Creating calmness and preventing play biting
- Basic sit/down/stand/wait/recall & loose lead walking
- Dog to dog introductions
- Greeting people
- How to play with your puppy
- Creating focus, engagement and a positive relationship with your puppy

How long are the classes?
The classes last an hour
How old does my puppy have to be to attend the Puppy Foundation class?
Your puppy needs to have completed their vaccinations and be able to go outside. They can then join the class anytime up to 6 months of age.
What is covered in the class?
We cover all the foundations of basic training i.e. recall, loose lead walking, sit/down, drop, leave it, settle, handling & grooming. We also include activities to help build your puppy's confidence and prevent problem behaviours.
What do we need to bring to class?
Full joining instructions will be sent to you once you book onto a course giving you all the information you need on how to find us, where to park and what to bring.
What if we can't attend a class?
As this is a 6 week course you will unfortunately lose that week, however, you will have full access to our online course so you can catch up on the week you missed.
As the class is held outdoors what happens if the weather is bad?
We train in most weathers apart from extreme heat and torrential rain. high winds or thunderstorms. You wil be notified via text if classes are not going ahead and either the class will run virtually or will roll on to the next week.
How do I access the online Puppy Club?
Once you book onto the course you will receive an email giving you full instruction on how to access the online course
